We need YOU!

In March 2019, CLC Multi-Language Media, Bible for the Nations, and several US Biker Clubs and ministries will be handing out 10,000 copies of the new American version of the Biker Bible at Daytona Bike Week in Daytona Beach, Florida. We’d like you to join us! Your prayers and your donations are needed, but we’d also like you to join us and help give them out!

Since its beginning in 2001, the Biker Bible has become a classic in Europe, where more than a million copies have been printed in 23 languages. CLC and Bible for the Nations share a passion for reaching bikers and prisoners with the Biker Bible.

Biker Church - Biker Bible Project

There are more than 1 million copies of the Biker Bible in 23 languages.

Where the idea of the Biker Bible was born…

During a road trip on the Autobahn in Germany in 1999, Roul Akesson of Bible for the Nations was passed by some Hells Angels bikers. He started to think about how he could reach them with the message of Jesus. Was it an impossible task? How could he even get in touch with them? Roul sensed Jesus saying to him “Make a Bible for them!”

The Lord moved and $30,000 was raised for the first printing of 10,000 Biker Bibles in 2001. That summer 2,000 copies were handed out at the biggest Scandinavian Motorcycle Club (MC) meet! There was enormous interest as all kinds of bikers came to get Biker Bibles. The Christian bikers were surprised that even the tougher guys wanted Biker Bibles, including the Hells Angels!

Germany

From that point, the distribution of the Biker Bible began to spread. The Holy Riders MC in Germany began to give them out. Roul asked them, “Could you be responsible for giving all the Hells Angels in Germany a Biker Bible?” They agreed, and The Holy Riders in Germany have handed out over 50,000 Biker Bibles in the past 17 years!

Another Christian MC club in a European country got a phone call from the Hells Angels, asking them to bring their Bible stand to a Hells Angels party. A few years ago, Roul was at a large MC meet and got to speak with a road captain for Hells Angels. He asked for an entire case of 50 Biker Bibles to hand out to his own friends who were in prison.

Many thousands of Biker Bibles have been handed out at prisons in Europe. One of the first big outreaches to prisons was in Albania, where several thousand Biker Bibles were handed out. This year there was a huge outreach into the prisons in Poland, where we started the distribution of 10,000 Biker Bibles in October 2018. The goal is to reach all of the 80,000 prisoners in Poland with the Biker Bible.

Our vision for the Biker Bible in the USA

Together with Christian MC clubs and churches and Christian organizations, we now want to reach all of the bikers in the USA with the Biker Bible. We also want to reach the USA’s 2.3 million prisoners with the Biker Bible. Together we can make this happen!

Daytona Bike Week 2019

Our first major outreach is planned for Daytona Bike Week 2019 from March 8-17. Our goal is to give away 10,000 Biker Bibles! Together with Christian clubs from the US and Europe we plan to have a Bible tent at Daytona Bike Week.

Here is how you can join us in this work:

  1. Join us on the front line! Help us hand out Biker Bibles and have the needed Gospel conversations at this meet. If this sounds like you, contact us at mlminfo@multilanguage.com with the subject line “Front Lines Biker Week”
  2. We need prayer partners. Pray for the hearts of the bikers to be open to the Gospel and that God uses us to reach the right people.
  3. Sponsor this outreach with your own full or half-page display in the back of the Bibles. A donation of $900 gives you a half-page of space, and $1600 gives you the full page. Space for these are limited, however, so move quickly on these! Contact mlminfo@multilanguage.com with the subject line “Sponsoring Bike Week”
  4. Sponsor an individual or a group of individuals with donations in multiples of $5. For example, $50 allows us to give out 10 Bibles and $500 ensures that 100 Bibles are handed out and Gospel conversations are had. Donate online at https://multilanguagemedia.org/donate-now
